TheRide buses cover Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. If money is tight, ask about the Fare Deal card — it cuts your fare in half, and a Medicaid card counts as proof.
On Medicaid? You can get FREE rides to medical appointments. Call the Member Services number on the back of your health plan card and ask for "transportation help." Book 1–3 days ahead.
Going to drug or alcohol treatment? Those rides sometimes work differently. If your health plan says no, ask your caseworker at the state benefits office (MDHHS) to set up the ride — they can.
Live in Chelsea, Dexter, or Manchester? The WAVE bus serves western Washtenaw, with door-to-door rides you book by phone.
Have a disability that keeps you off regular buses? A-Ride is door-to-door service. You apply once, then book rides by phone.
